Do you need a vignette to reach Satu Mare?
The Hungarian motorway vignette only covers the Hungarian section of your route. Once you cross into Romania, a completely different toll or vignette system takes over — OptimÚt calculates the Hungarian leg for you, up to the border.
Border crossing
Via Csengersima (M3 + 49-es főút): This cost/time covers the route to Csengersima (the Hungarian-Romanian border, via the M3 motorway then road 49) only — Satu Mare is about another 15 km from there, where Romanian tolls (rovinieta) apply. The final stretch is an ordinary road, so a Hungarian vignette is often not even required here.
How to calculate it
